The Coaching Staff

MIKE O'KEEFE : OWNER / INSTRUCTOR

He played seven years of professional baseball with the Angels, Red Sox, and Braves. Highest
level played was Triple AAA.

SCOTT BERNEY: PITCHING INSTRUCTOR

He is currently a Pitching Coach at Southern Connecticut State University. He played professional baseball in the Colorado Rockies Organization.

TYRONE BOYKIN : HITTING INSRTUCTOR

He is presently an AA Manager of Arkansas/Travelers/LA Angels Affiliate. He played professional baseball with the Angels from 1993-95.

NICK GIORDANO : PITCHING INSTRUCTOR

Nick has been a part of youth baseball for over 15 years. He has chosed to dedicate his "baseball" life to youth programs,
specifically youth pitching. He has been a part of the Hamden Fathers Little League for over 15 years. He is a Pre season All-State 1982 District 4 Hamden All Star pitching coach. Dates include, 2001-2003, 2005, AAU Pitching coach 2003, 2004

ROB CORRARO : INSTRUCTOR

He is a former Providence College standout. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays out of high school. He was a four year starter at Providence. He helped pitch Providence to a Big East title during his senior year. He pitched and played professionally for Italy in the European Cup. He was Director of Baseball Operations for Home Run USA in Cheshire.

MARK GIORDANO : INSTRUCTOR

Former coach at Albertus Magnus College. Mark is the best in the business when it comes to teaching the fundamentals for girls fastpitch and hitting. Mark has been giving private pitching & hitting instructions for girls for the past ten years.

MIKE MORAS : INSTRUCTOR

Mike is currently at the University of New Haven . Mike has been the starting catcher for the Chargers since his freshman year. First team All Conference Honors his first two years, Mike is ready to show scouts he can play at the next level. Not only does Mike train down at Mikes Academy, but instructs as well.

JEFF FARRELL : INSTRUCTOR

Current head coach for the 14U Angels. Jeff pitched a Southern Connecticut State University, where he compiled a 3.13 ERA over three seasons. Jeff went on to pitch in the Boston Red Sox organization.

JOHN ZULLO : INSTRUCTOR

He is currently the head coach for the 18U Angels B Team. John was an All-State, and New Haven Register Pitcher of the Year for the Notre Dame Knights. He went on to play for Porky Viera at New Haven where he was their number one pitcher as a freshman.
